Technology and R&D

Production technology of leather has been gradually evolving. We incorporate new technologies quickly and actively engaged in research and development.

For tanning, we also incorporate not only general vegetable tanning and chrome tanning, but also applying other way of tanning according to the application. In addition, we are proposing new expressions such as post-processing to finished leather material.

Tanning technology

Tanning process greatly affects the texture of the leathers. Today, vegetable tanning, chrome tanning and combination tanning are main stream of leather tanning.

In these tanning processes, we add various ingenious techniques and technologies to develop new materials. Waterproof, water-repellent are not only applied on the surface of the leather, in finishes process, but also enhances the waterproof and water repellent effect by putting some special chemicals from the tanning stage.

Plant dyeing for Botanical leather is also working from tanning stage. Besides, for usual combination tanned leather, we also use a new technique which is called "dechrome", that technique makes it possible for the finished leather to be soften and its texture can be close to vegetable tanned leather.

Post processing technology

When finished materials are subjected to post-processing, it becomes distinctive leather. You can print photos and illustrations on the surface of the leather. For inkjet printing using dye or fine particle pigment, leather material suitable for this is indispensable. We correspond with it from production of material.

Although it cannot be seen normally, when black light is applied, print processing which emerges the printed matter also will be done. Laser processing is also possible. Logo marks and design drawings can be expressed by making minimal holes.

Adopting post-processing technology broaden the range of planning and design of the final product. The combination of material and post-processing widens the possibilities of leather.
